Ellisor's Family Math Night

The annual Ellisor Family Math Night was a big hit for our family! Katie and Emily were able to volunteer - Emily was in the animal room helping with all the animals. The pig was a big hit!
All the teachers brought their classroom pets for the kids to look at. This is the bunny from Bex's classroom named Gucci.
Matthew and Jacob checking out this lizard
In the gym were a ton of math oriented games to play - Matthew breezed through them all!
 Stacking cups was Matthew's favorite
In the music room, the math games were geared more towards the younger children. Bex and Jacob enjoying the moon sand!
At the end of the evening, we found Katie manning her post on the 1st grade side of the building!
She showed Rebecca how to blow the most air into the bag the fastest
Matthew in the 5th grade classroom with goggles and a growing water worm
Matthew is blowing air into his bag too, but without instruction he did not do it the fastest way!
Bex was able to compete against Matthew's full lungs
Katie was so proud that she had helped Rebecca beat Matthew! She showed Bex that by blowing air from a slight distance away, the bag filled up more fully in one breath than putting the bag up to your mouth like Matthew did. Way to go Bex!
