Progress with Katie's braces - they added forces (extra metal and coils to bottom and back) to help align her bite! She definitely has a lot of steel in her mouth! Braces rock!

Shopping Buddies

 Tried to sneak off to HEB for a few groceries tonight and these two caught me! Matthew thought it was so funny that he could still squeeze into a shopping cart and help steer us smoothly with Bex! Funny kid!

 She is such a girlie girl with the daily wearing of dresses or skirts! She loves this Frozen dress that she got for school and the matching flower headband! I have to be honest and say that I bawled my eyes out once the bus pulled up! It was about 30 minutes late and I was enjoying every last moment with my baby girl! I could tell how nervous she was and kept reminding Matthew to take care of her! After watching the bus drive away and walking Jacob back to the house, I didn't say a word to Sam, not wanting him to see me cry, and locked myself in the bathroom until I regained my composure! It was a tough day for mom!

I thought it was really cute that Katie and Emily made a treasure hunt for me to finish on that first day of school! It was a great reminder of my love for each of them! 

I kept peeking into the bathroom and seeing their cute heart on the mirror throughout the day to keep that smile on my face and heart full of love! 

Luckily I had some help forgetting how much I was missing my kiddos! Kristen and Danai keeping me company! 

 Breakfast with the ladies at Texas Taco was a big hit!

My friend Braedy sent her boys off to school and made it to breakfast with me! We had such a fun time hanging out with the other moms and their little ones (along with my Jacob) for a little while to make the first day of school a great celebration! We'll have to keep up tradition each year! Love ya ladies!!!

Cousin Fun Before School!

Had to celebrate the start of school with pool time at the Long's house! Matt, Katie and Jake hangin' in the pool!

Jacob fell asleep and took a monster nap in his momma's arms. After setting him down to finish napping on the couch, he popped awake pretty quickly and the kids attacked! Maren, Bex, Matt and Jacob being silly! We love hanging out with our cousins!

Pokey Bread

This sweet girl was helping me make cheese sandwiches today and I found this - Bex had poked smiley faces into her pieces of bread! Such a fun girl! It was hard to cover those smiley faces with cheese, but they sure tasted delicious!

Coke Names

Stopped at a gas station on our way home from church activities tonight and took the time to find everyone's name on a Coke bottle! Matthew got Diet Coke, but hey, it works! Such an accomplishment and so refreshing on this hot summer day!

MUD-BOYS-MUD-BOYS

 So the boys found a little corner of dirt in our backyard that looked like it needed a little water added to it!

 Matthew and Jacob had a blast playing in the mud together!

Jake follows everything his big brother does! 

There will be a huge mess to clean up, but watching them play so well together makes it 100% worth it! Love my boys!
