Popeye's Dancing Diva

After a long week of work, Daddy was craving Popeye's Chicken. Bex and Jake tagged along and had a great time watching out the window
And Bex putting on a dance show
Sharing the love with dad
And showing us the sass!
Love hearing others seated around us giggling and laughing along with us at Bex's superstar style!

Future Pep Band

The BBJH Band was invited to play with the high school pep band at the football game tonight
Emily had such a great time in the band section of the stadium!
Same game, Katie sang the National Anthem with the high school choir - she is hiding from my view in all the pictures I took of her - she is totally busted, but sounded great!
Emily and Lanie (our fave flutes)
I got to chaperone - love the photo bombing by Lanie and Heather!
The junior high kids were really impressed with the school spirit the band brings to the game! They were able to watch the halftime marching band perform also!
It was so sweet to have Emily say in the car ride home with all the enthusiasm she could, "I am DEFINITELY doing pep band in high school!!!" What a great experience for these kids! I was totally impressed with how the high school kids embraced them and really got them excited for their future band adventures!
Walking down the bleachers at the end of the game (which Magnolia Bulldogs won of course) - the only picture I got with Katie in it and yes, I know she is covering her face!

Jacob's Feast

This little cutie surprised me this morning! After taking my shower, I came out to the kitchen to check on Jacob. This is what I found...
He used his potty seat as a stepstool to reach daddy's cup of water, a bag of chips and some Skittles at the kitchen counter, turning around to watch his TV shows while he indulges, leaving the remote on the counter right beside his yums! Not a bad idea for such a smart little stinker!

After the Rains - Turtles Come Looking for Water

We were sitting at the dinner table eating our meal this evening when Jacob was distracted looking out the front window at something walking across our front lawn!
Everyone got up to check out the snapping turtle
Sam teaching the girls how to hold one correctly
Loved seeing the girls so interested in this cool creature!
After a few minutes of handling and passing the turtle around, Bex was given the duty to set it free
She let him loose right under the culvert in our driveway. Such brave girls I have!
