Friday Night Lights

Daddy and Bex loved watching the football game on Friday night!
Katie with her 7th grade choir from BBJH got to sing the National Anthem at the Magnolia Bulldogs vs. Brenham football game on Friday night! Katie is standing on the far left side of the group.
They sounded great singing the National Anthem and were very professional! This was our first high school football game that we attended as a family! Magnolia won of course and we were thrilled!
The boys enjoying some popcorn together
Our crew before the game started waiting for Katie's choir to sing! We took up a good section of bench around the 30 yard line. Go Bulldogs!
Katie hanging with her #1 fan! We were so proud of Katie singing and loved having her join us to watch the game!

Naptime

Every afternoon around 2:00 this little guy climbs up on my bed and finds my pillow for his head, pats the space beside him for me to lay down on daddy's pillow and pops the bottle in his mouth, points at the TV and I get to watch a couple episodes of my favorite Netflix shows.
I'm not going to lie, Jacob pretty much wears a diaper everyday - ONLY! He just gets too hot and sweaty during his nap so if he does happen to have something on, I strip him down. So much more comfortable!
Little Jacob is the king of my bed during naptime! He quickly falls asleep most days and stays asleep for 2-3 hours! When Katie and Emily get home from school at 3:00 they know to come find me in my room laying with Jacob or folding laundry while I watch my shows! Just love my little squishy boy and all his cuddles each afternoon!

Tasty Treats!

 Conference Weekend Cinnamon Rolls!
I found this awesome cinnamon roll recipe that we had to try out from Anita Adams (amazing chef in our ward!)  For the first round attempt and lots of hands on help from Emily, I have to boast a little and tell you how amazingly wonderful they turned out!
With two pans of cinnamon rolls and 10 hours of conference to watch on TV, we were all pretty sugared out this Sunday! It was great to hear the prophet speak and all of the other church leaders! We were both spiritually and physically filled! Definitely planning on keeping up this tradition every 6 months!

Bottle-Mouth on the Swings

I love watching this little man grow! He sure thrives for the outdoors!
Too cute not to post these pictures with his bottle in mouth while cruising around our backyard! Such a silly boy!
He loves to follow his big brother Matthew EVERYWHERE!!! These boys are going to be such great buddies for life! Love to watch them love eachother!

Such a fun group of boys!
Matthew was able to pin mom and get his face painted for his advancement!
Great job buddy!
Just check out that awesome warrior face paint! He was a good sport and like always put a smile on everyone's face with his goofy personality!

Church Tricks

Sometimes you just need a little peace and quiet on the way to church so that you can feel the spirit and be prepared to receive the message the Lord has in mind for you. After constantly bothering Rebecca for the first 10 minutes of the car ride, we duct taped Matthew's mouth closed to enjoy the last 10 minutes of peace. Poor guy! But it was well worth it as everyone felt the calm!

Ward Luau

The kids had a great time exploring the Bishop's backyard during the Ward Luau!
Daddy had his hands full!
The girls made lais and grass skirts and hula hooped!
After eating the pig and tons of pineapple, everyone stopped to watch the show!
Emily hanging with Jake
Krista Cobb did a fire dance for us!
It was fun mingling with friends! What a great kick-off to our school year!
