Preschool Grad

 Rebecca and Kalea learned so much from Sis. Brown this year! Here they are receiving their awards.

Pre-K was only twice a week for 2 hours which was perfect for our little kiddos! Bex says, "Kindergarten - here she comes!"

We had a special speaker that night - the McLane family invited their sister who is a professional calf roper and barrel racer 

 Everyone listened and asked questions while she talked about her experiences with rodeos

 Then she taught the kids how to rope a calf

Scripture Power

Matthew fell asleep like this tonight and I thought it was so adorable!!! Love to see him reading his scriptures right after family home evening! There's no better way to fall asleep!

Magnolia Basketball Finals

Matthew played on the Chicago Bulls team this year 

He is getting more aggressive and confident dribbling the ball down the open court after a great steal!

Here is the Bull's team with their coach! They did a great job and it was fun to watch them improve each game! The 3rd game of the season, I made a bet with Matthew. I told him that if he scored a basket, I would pay him $5 (hopefully to motivate him since he hadn't scored a point yet). Before halftime that game he was fouled on the shot and he was able to shoot a free throw. Matthew totally sank his free throw and immediately looked for me in the crowd to grin and let me know I owed him five bucks! It was hilarious!  

Family Math Night at Ellisor

The kids had a fun time seeing their teachers and friends at the school during Math Night which was packed with tons of games for the kids to play using their math skills! 

 There were games set up in the gym and the cafeteria and everyone could go at their own pace visiting all the stations.

 I loved watching the kids include Rebecca!

Saltgrass Steak House

 Another night out with Grandma had us searching for the perfect restaurant! We drove down along I-45 to Gringo's Mexican Restaurant first, but the parking lot was overflowing and the wait was going to be at least an hour long - who would have thought we would be waiting that long on a Wednesday night?

 So we ditched Gringo's and ventured on down the freeway feeling so lucky to have found Saltgrass in the Woodlands - quite the yummiest steaks ever! The kids devoured their food and we were so glad to have such good company! We got home late for a school night, but nobody complained! We love Grandma!

Grandma Whimpey

  Grandma came out to visit us in February. She stayed at Brad's house for a few days and visited us everyday since we live so close! We took her out to Saltgrass for yummy dinner, Incredible Pizza for lots of fun, and hung out at the apartment playing games and watching TV.
