6th Grade Graduation

All the parents met at the middle school campus gym for the graduation ceremony that started at 10:00. Katie received her diploma from the principal of BB6 (Mr. Campbell)

They had to walk from the bleachers on the right of the gym all the way around the gymnasium and back to their seat. I snuck up front for some closer pictures of this girl strutting her stuff!

And of course Katie loving Jacob here! It was a great year for Katie on the 6th grade campus. She became another big sister, started braces and added more responsibility along the way! She is a great sister and we love her leadership in our home!

End of School 2014

Inner Space Caves in Austin

It was a rainy day in Austin, so we were glad that we picked these caves to go explore for our Memorial Day celebration!

We were not allowed to touch any of the cavern walls or rocks, but this is one exception along the way! Emily and Katie touching the rock wall.

Katie sitting with the porcelain doll rock formation just to the left of her. It was fun to see so many different names for these formations! We kept laughing because a lot of them had food names and Star Wars - french fries hanging from the ceiling and the Millenium Falcon were just a couple named for us.

Emily loved this giant "slide rock" and wanted to take it home to our backyard!

After our 2 hour tour, everyone got to pick one thing from the gift shop to take home with us! We loved touring the Inner Space Caves and cannot wait to go there again!

Hotel Swimming Pool in Austin

We drove out to Austin late Sunday night and found a hotel to stay in. This was our big Memorial Day excursion! After our early morning continental breakfast, the kids jumped into the pool with Sam.
